The Tate (Previously known as Kingspan) Alpha V pedestals are constructed of zinc-plated steel to guarantee electrical continuity and are pre-assembled to reduce installation time. A locking nut on the pedestals guarantees that the pedestal head does not move after it has been balanced and secured. The heads of the pedestals are designed to accommodate several support stringers. The panels are correctly placed due to the 90mm diameter head caps.
